Friendly reminder - Review your asthma action plan
As we welcome the warmer, spring weather (finally!) - it is a timely reminder to ensure we are up to date with your asthma management. For many asthmatics Spring can bring about a risk of exacerbation with a higher pollen load and (unfortunately) we are not quite out of the woods with our winter cold season.
Are you using your ventolin more than twice weekly? Have you had any asthma symptoms at night? Have you required the use of oral prednisolone in the last 6 months?
Your asthma is likely being under treated and you are at risk of hospitalisation. Come and have a chat with one of the friendly GP's regarding asthma management for yourself or your child.
